THE LIFE PATH or DESTINY NUMBER

The sum of all the letters in your name (Full birth name) makes up what is called the Expression or Destiny number.

The destiny number symbolises the opportunities you have at your disposal, your potential or destiny. Living up to attributes of this number may not be easy, but it is your goal in the here and now. It is your life's purpose and your field of opportunity.

To arrive at your Destiny number, take each name separately and add up the letter values using the conversion chart below. Reduce each name to a single digit . Then add the results of all of the names to arrive at a total which you then once again reduce to a single digit.

Don't use nicknames, assumed name, deviations in spelling used, or omit any part of the birth name. Use it as it appears on the birth certificate. Don't worry about changes to the name (married name, etc.), just stay with complete birth name. Don't count Dr, Mr, Mrs, Jr,  Sr, or any initials like BSc or II etc. following the name.

The only exception to this is in the case of adoption shortly after birth, and here the name given in the adopting home should be used.

Chaldean Numerology

The Chaldean System of numerology has its roots in Ancient Babylon. This system is related to the Vedic System of India and the Kabbalah System of the Hebrew mystics.

The underlying premise of Chaldean numerology is that every letter has a unique vibration. Numbers are assigned to letters based on the vibrational value. In the Pythagorean System of numerology

numbers are assigned by sequence. The Chaldean System has largely been replaced by the Pythagorean System.

Chaldean Numerology is the older numerology of the two numerology systems. While Chaldean Numerology is considered more accurate, it's less popular. This is because the Chaldean Numerology system is not as easy to master, and the alphabet values are not in as systematic an order as the other Numerology system. The name, when ana­lyzed under Chaldean Numerology, gives a more occult or meta­physical flavor to the destiny that's interwoven into the person's character. Chaldean Numerology indicates the hidden forces or invisible strings at play behind the scenes.

The Chaldean Numerology method also differs in that it goes by the name you're most known by, and this could be a nick name or just the surname. For example the name Robert is 2+7+2+5+2+4= 22 further reduced (2+2= 4). A common nick name for Robert is Bob, which adds up to 11 (1+1= 2). If you were to use the Pythagorean System then Robert = 33, which would further be reduced down to (3+3) = 6.

After the name, the birth number the day of the month on which you were born is considered to be the next most important factor in Chaldean Numerology. The birth day number affects the personality, health, and other factors in Chaldean Numerology The Chaldean Numerology approach is very ancient and accurate. Chaldean Numerology was developed by the Chaldeans long time ago, who once occupied the southern part of Babylonia. All numbers, whether found under this system or the Pythagorean one, have basically the same meanings, symbols, nature, and character. This seems to be the universal rule of all number systems.

The Personal Year is helpful in evaluating the trend of the coming calendar year. For a clue as to what lies ahead in the coming year, calculate your personal year using this formula:

First, reduce the month and day of your birth, your birthday, to a single digit. Using my birthday for example, February 8th, that single digit would be 1 (2+8=10; 1+0=1). If your month and day total comes to 11 or 22, the master numbers, in this instance, reduce the number to 2 and 4, respectively.

Next, reduce the year for which you are making the calculation to a single digit. The year 2003 would become 5.

Now, add the single digit representing your birthday to the single digit representing the year in question. Thus, 2003 is a 6 personal year for me.
